Basic Life Support & Defibrillation
The DAN Basic Life Support & Defibrillation - BLS(D) course trains you to assist an adult victim of Sudden Cardiac Arrest or life-threatening injuries combining BLS techniques with the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).
The DAN Paediatric Basic Life Support & Defibrillation PBLS(D) course represents an integration of the DAN Basic Life Support (Adult) course. This programme is designed to teach you the skills necessary to manage Cardiac Arrest of paediatric victim with the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).
The DAN First Aid course is designed for students already certified as Basic Life Support (BLS) providers who want to learn first aid techniques to be used in case of injuries or illnesses that do not directly threaten the survival of the victim.
The DAN Oxygen First Aid for Diving Emergencies course is designed to teach divers and non-divers (e.g. a diving boat Captain) to recognise signs and symptoms of diving injuries and to provide first aid with Oxygen in case of accidents related to diving activities.
Advanced Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries
The DAN Advanced Oxygen first aid for Scuba Diving Injuries is designed for those who have already successfully completed the course DAN Oxygen First Aid for Diving Emergencies. It is designed to teach DAN Oxygen Providers to use a positive pressure valve (as the MTV100) and/or a bag-valve-mask (BVM)
The course DAN On-Site Neurological Assessment for Divers is an advanced-level program for DAN Oxygen Providers who want to learn how to make a basic neurological assessment on a potentially injured diver.
The DAN First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries course is designed to provide divers (and interested non-divers) with useful tools to identify dangerous marine life species, to avoid possible injuries caused by them and to be ready to provide the necessary first aid.
At present, this content is only available in Italian language.
The DAN Equalisation Awareness course is the training course focusing on conscious compensation, designed by Andrea Zuccari for DAN Europe. Compensation concerns not only divers and freedivers, but also adults and children who, for example, are facing an aeroplane flight for the first time, and even hyperbaric operators who deal with this type of problem on a daily basis.
The course DAN Medical Oxygen Rebreather (MO2R) is an advanced training module designed to educate DAN Oxygen Providers to identify and recognise divers' injuries for whom DAN Medical Oxygen Rebreather system is an effective method to provide emergency Oxygen.

This course is essentially aimed at commercial divers.
Diver Medical Technicians (DMTs) serve as the critical first step in the dive medicine chain, caring for injured divers on the scene and acting as tenders in the hyperbaric chamber. Many of the participants in these programs are diving safety officers with dive teams or tenders associated with hyperbaric chambers, but many of them are also dive professionals interested in advancing their knowledge of dive medicine so they can better tend to the divers in their care.
