Contact lenses

Question:
I would like to ask you about safety diving with contact lenses.

Answer:
Soft, gas-permeable contact lenses (like the ones you indicate should be) are generally not a problem when diving.
Other types of hard, non fissurated contact lenses may generate corneal problems and the formation of bubbles in the tear film between the lens and the cornea and on the surface of the cornea itself. Such situations may generate fogging of vision for a certain time, but are usually self-limited and do not need any treatment.
