DAN Europe Members just got better protected

A core update to your next DAN Europe Membership, and a few changes to how some optional benefits work. Here’s everything you need to know. These changes do not affect plans and policies already held.

Dive safety has always extended beyond the water, to the travel that gets you there and back. That’s why we’ve strengthened the protection built into every DAN Europe Membership automatically.

New features

Extended Travel Insurance, now included
Travel insurance is now part of your core Membership, automatically. Every DAN Europe member is covered for non-diving emergencies during travel abroad: medical expenses, early return, and luggage protection. Valid for multiple trips abroad throughout the year, with coverage of up to 30 consecutive days per trip.

Platinum Plan: full-year coverage, no limits
Need non-diving travel cover for the whole year, or for trips longer than 30 consecutive days? The new Platinum plan gives you meaningfully broader coverage than the previous Travel No-Limits add-on. Ideal for long-term travellers and professionals spending extended periods overseas.

Extend your protection to the whole family

Choose the Family option that best fits how your family dives and travels. All covering up to 3 additional family members alongside yourself.

Family Membership
Your partner and children (under age 25) become DAN Members too, with the same travel insurance included in your Membership. Valid all year for international travel, up to 30 days per trip.

Family Diving
Extend your diving accident coverage to your partner and children (under age 25). No need to activate separate diving insurance for them. Cover is valid worldwide, for 365 days.

Retired Add-ons

Individual Travel No-Limits
The old 365-day non-diving coverage is now built into the new Platinum plan.
Want Travel No-Limits protection all year round, or for trips longer than 30 days? The new Platinum level has you covered. It replaces the previous Travel No-Limits add-on with even broader protection.

Family Travel No-Limits
365-day non-diving coverage is now included in the new Platinum plan, with the Family Membership Platinum option. Same great upgrade, perfect for families traveling abroad together all year, or for over 30 consecutive days per trip.

Family x6
This optional benefit, which allowed to register up to 6 family members (partner and children) in addition to yourself, is no longer available. Instead, you can activate two separate plans with the Family option, each covering up to 3 family members (plus the primary member, as always).

Please note

  • Some product options may not be available to all Members, particularly those who benefit from bespoke products or special agreements.
  • Logging into the DAN Member portal now requires your email address and password. If you haven’t reset your password yet, please do so to ensure uninterrupted access.
