DAN Europe introduces its Diver Medical Technician (DMT) course
Better education makes safer divers. That is why DAN Europe have just added to its suite of training programmes a Diver Medical Technician (DMT) course.
The course is run in accordance with the specifications laid out by IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association) and designed under the IMCA accreditation scheme.

DAN Europe e il Claudius Obermaier Fund
DAN Europe ha istituito nel 2003 il “DAN Europe Claudius Obermaier Fund”. Il fondo benefico è nato per sostenere i subacquei e le loro famiglie che, in seguito ad un incidente subacqueo, si trovino in particolari situazioni di bisogno.
Il fondo supporta anche centri iperbarici o strutture di medicina subacquea in aree remote del mondo. (...)

DAN Europe and SSI to further deepen their cooperation
Nuremberg, Dec. 14th 2009 - DAN Europe (Divers Alert Network Europe) and SSI (Scuba Schools International) Service Center Europe, Middle East & Africa signed a cooperation agreement in the field of expert Diving Medical Assistance and Diving Accident Insurance throughout most parts of Europe, Egypt and the Maldives. Spectacular underwater Guinness World Records attempt at LEGOLAND® Germany 
Günzburg, 8 March 2010 – At the leisure park LEGOLAND® Deutschland in Bavarian Günzburg a spectacular Guinness World Records attempt will be taking place from 30 March to 13 April 2010. For a period of 14 days the Australian marine biologist and adventurer Lloyd Godson will be living in a house measuring just four square metres in the underwater world of LEGOLAND ATLANTIS by SEA LIFE – without surfacing once. Before the eyes of visitors, he will attempt to generate the largest amount of electricity that has ever been generated by pedalling under water. (...)
