DAN Training Manuals Now Available on the Web and on Mobile Devices

DAN Training is pleased to introduce a new way to present course manuals and documentation, now also on smartphones e tablets.

Students attending DAN courses want information and training materials to be available at their fingertips. QR Codes provide students with an easier, faster and more flexible access to DAN Training materials. This simple technology also guarantees access to the most current versions of student manuals.

"CDs helped greatly in the past, making it possible to deliver manuals in many languages to students all over the world", says Massimiliano Stirparo, DAN Training Manager. "Now with the use of QR codes we will be able to further provide a better service to both students and DAN Instructors".

DAN Training started using the cards with QR codes, gradually inserting them instead of CDs in all student and instructor kits.

Why a QR Code?
A QR Code (Quick Response Code) is a type of barcode which is easily readable by mobile devices through specific Apps / Readers, which can be downloaded for free, and which is linked to web pages. Once the QR Code has been scanned, students will instantly be redirected to a webpage where the DAN student materials can be downloaded.

How it works?
Student kits will now contain a stylish card with a unique QR code and link for every DAN course, course pack or combi kit. Hence, student materials can now be accessed through:

  • QR Code

  • Scan the codes and download DAN course materials, such as Provider manuals, flowcharts, etc.

  • Web Link

  • This link can be used in every web browser to get access to the same download area.

Note for desktop and laptop users
QR codes can also be scanned using a normal webcam if a QR code software (available for free) is installed on the computer.
