Our Instructors and Instructor Trainers are active, sporty people, constantly on-the-go. Often they have little time to dedicate to application forms relative to the courses they conducted, or they may not have a printer or scanner on hand. Until now, getting an instructor application signed was time consuming and pretty costly and inconvenient for Instructor Trainers, as they had to print documents and post them back to DAN Training.
In our industry, however, time factor is critical, this is why we introduced a brand new procedure to sign documents. The DocuSign platform makes it possible to quickly sign and send certifications, thus cutting down dramatically the amount of time necessary to get the paperwork done. The whole process, which normally took 2-3 weeks, will now be reduced to 1-2 days!
This new platform is simple, easy and so much faster than printing, signing and scanning documents. It gives users the possibility to sign up anywhere, any time, and on any device. Furthermore, since all documents are digital there's no need to interpret handwritten forms anymore. Last but not least, DocuSign ensures the legality of electronic signatures.
DAN Training eSignature in a Nutshell
The use of DocuSign is simple, easy and so much faster than printing, signing and scanning documents.
What is an electronic signature?
An electronic signature, or eSignature, is an electronic indication of intent to agree to or approve the contents of a document.
How does DocuSign eSignature work?
eSignature enables instructor and instructor trainers to sign with their mouse, upload a scanned image of their signature, or type in their name and select from a variety of signature styles to sign a document. With the DocuSign mobile app they are able to sign with their finger. Whichever option they choose, their signature is a valid electronic signature. This signature will be associated with a unique identifier so that every document they sign will be recorded as signed by they and they alone.
Are electronic signatures legal?
Yes, electronic signatures are legally binding in many countries around the world. Read more about the legality of electronic signatures.
What are the benefits of electronic signature?
Using electronic signature can help save you time and money. Here are some of the benefits of using electronic signature:
- Time and money saved – Eliminate the need to print, fax, scan, and ship documents.
- Faster results – Send documents for signature and get a response in minutes, not days.
- Legally binding documents – Upon signing the document, the instructor trainer and the instructor candidate are agreeing to a number of conditions.
- Flexibility to work on the go – Sign and send documents from anywhere on any Internet-enabled device.
DAN Training Electronic Signature: when will it be effective?
DAN Training will officially adopt eSignature starting from May 21st 2015. The traditional procedure will still be in force throughout 2015, then completely discontinued.
