Researchers of the DAN Europe Research Division have been honoured with the 2014 EUBS Patrick Musimu Award for the best paper on breath-hold diving.

The Award was announced at the 40th EUBS Annual Meeting, held last September 24-27 in Wiesbaden, Germany, which reunited some of Europe's top diving doctors and researchers.

The Award recognises the value of DAN Europe research on genetics and breath-hold diving. Title of the study is: Genetic predisposition to breath-hold diving induced Pulmonary Edema: Up-Date. Our congratulations go to Dr Danilo Cialoni, Massimo Pieri, Dr Nicola Sponsiello, Dr Vittorio Lucchini and Prof. Alessandro Marroni.
